Trump TRASHES the White House: a "dump"

The Trump-appointed board running the Kennedy Center — a living memorial to an assassinated president — has warned it may shut the venue down within days… unless trustees restore Trump's name to the building.

A document set to be delivered to trustees Tuesday claims the center is near bankruptcy and in physical disrepair hazardous to staff and the public. The Kennedy Center was opened in 1971 as a memorial to John F. Kennedy.

It says Trump is offering to “raise the necessary funds to keep the Center from bankruptcy” during the renovation. But he simply won’t be able to do it without “appropriate recognition” of his role.

Trump is holding the Kennedy Center hostage.

Trump called the White House "a dump" on his failing social media platform Sunday night, in bad condition "both inside and out" — the same 18th-century building he's currently gutting for a $600 million ballroom.

He tore down the East Wing, standing since 1902, to build it, then trucked more than 2,000 loads of the debris to a public golf course two miles away, where National Park Service testing found the soil laced with lead and chromium. The course never closed. Greens fee: $42.

Sixty-five percent of voters already disapprove of the construction. Trump didn't inherit a dump. He's building the excuse for the one he made.

Tucker Carlson told his audience he "wouldn't vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint," calling the Republican Senate nominee a "tool of Israel and the intelligence agencies," then agreed that Democrat Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is "literally Trumpian."

El-Sayed won his primary after AIPAC spent over $30 million trying to bury him over his opposition to unconditional aid to Israel, and won it outspent nine-to-one anyway.

Carlson liked that so much he defended El-Sayed's 9/11 comments in his own newsletter, arguing the wars that followed killed far more civilians than the attack itself. JD Vance had to rush out and call El-Sayed "crazy" and "evil" just to stop Republicans from jumping ship.

Some people online think the billionaires may actually want a slowdown because the AI determined they are the problem that needs to be eliminated. That’s our favorite theory.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama went to a closed-door Manhattan fundraiser and urged Hakeem Jeffries to build a sweeping AI safety framework. A staffer leaked the transcript. Obama's message: "This is moving very fast in private hands, and if we don't get on top of it, I think can be dangerous."

Sen. Jon Ossoff took it to the Senate floor, ripping our “ancient establishment” for failing to regulate AI:

"Tech titans dig bunkers while warning us the new intelligence they're creating risks human extinction. Congress debates youth sports, and the president builds a ballroom,” he said.

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Greg Casar have introduced the Ban Artificial Superintelligence Act to actually pause advanced AI development.

Meanwhile, Trump rescinded the AI safety executive order on day one and has spent his energy trying to ban state-level AI regulations.

"Whoever wins AI wins," Trump told reporters Sunday from his Irish golf course.
