How One Wellness Brand Is Helping America Sleep Better

You know the importance of sleep, but actually getting enough is easier said than done. One wellness brand decided to study the problem and whether CBD could help.

CBD users have long reported feeling calmer and sleeping better, whether taking the compound by itself or with related hemp-derived compounds like CBN and THC. But rumor isn’t research, so CBDistillery conducted two sleep studies: a 2021 study into CBD and CBN, and a 2023 study with technology app Releaf into CBD, CBN and THC.

Study participants who took CBD and CBN reported falling asleep easier and sleeping an hour longer per night, on average. Study participants who took THC as well as CBD and CBN reported improved quality of sleep and waking up more refreshed the next morning.

Trump Says High Gas Prices Are Actually ‘Small Price to Pay’ — While Working Families Get Crushed at the Pump

Remember when Trump promised to bring down costs for working Americans?

Yeah, about that.

Oil prices spiked to $119.50 per barrel Monday—the highest since Russia invaded Ukraine—after Iran threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, which handles about 20% of global oil supply.

That would have meant $4-plus gas nationwide.

Trump’s response to the crisis his war helped create?

The billionaire president literally shrugged off energy costs that would devastate millions of Americans already struggling to pay for groceries and rent.

Prices dropped back under $100 Tuesday after Trump claimed the US war on Iran would be “very soon” over and “pretty much complete.”

But the whiplash is the point. Trump has been all over the map.

OF COURSE: Trump pays close attention to the market —when they affect his portfolio. Not when they determine whether American families can afford to drive to work.

Democrat Shocks by Leading MTG Replacement Race

A Democrat cattle farmer and retired brigadier general is leading the race to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia’s deep-red 14th District—a seat Trump won by 37 points. Shawn Harris pulled 37.3% in the special election, edging out Trump’s endorsed candidate Clay Fuller (34.9%), forcing an April runoff while Republicans limp along with their one-seat House majority for another month.

Democratic Senator Warns U.S. Is on Path to Ground Invasion of Iran

Senator Richard Blumenthal emerged from a classified Iran briefing furious and alarmed, warning that the U.S. appears to be “on a path toward deploying American troops on the ground in Iran”—directly contradicting Trump’s claim he’s “nowhere near” boots on the ground. The Connecticut Democrat also revealed that Russia is “actively and intensively” aiding Iran with intelligence that could kill U.S. soldiers, raising the stakes of Trump’s already deeply unpopular war. With national disapproval mounting and no clear objectives beyond regime change, Americans are demanding answers Trump refuses to give.

DOJ Sitting on Documents Involving 13-Year-Old Trump Accuser

The Department of Justice is withholding 37 pages of FBI documents related to a woman who says Donald Trump sexually assaulted her when she was 13 years old—and their excuse keeps changing. First they claimed “ongoing investigation” (there is none), then “duplicates” (which they won’t let the public verify), and finally “privilege”—which sure sounds like “covering for the president.” NPR tracked serial numbers in the Epstein files and found deliberate gaps right where interviews with Trump’s accuser should be, while Attorney General Pam Bondi’s DOJ has already been caught deleting previously released files, including one showing Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick hanging out on Epstein’s island.

DOGE Goon Took Social Security Data With Him, Whistleblower Says

A former DOGE software engineer allegedly walked off with Social Security data for 500+ million Americans on a thumb drive—then told coworkers he planned to share it with his new private employer and expected a Trump pardon if caught. (SURPRISE.) The databases contain SSNs, birth dates, citizenship status, and parents’ names. Congressional Democrats are alarmed, BUT BUT BUT the SSA and the contractor claim they found “no supporting evidence” after looking into it. Cool, cool, definitely nothing terrifying about Elon’s goons having unfettered access to your most sensitive personal information.

Leavitt Admits the SAVE Act Will Make It Harder for Married Women to Vote

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accidentally confirmed what Democrats have been saying all along: Trump’s SAVE America Act will force married women who changed their names to navigate bureaucratic hurdles before they can vote. While trying to debunk the “myth,” she literally described the problem—married women will need to “go through their state processes to update that documentation”—you know, the same processes Trump is actively gutting by slashing Social Security office capacity by 50%. Trump is threatening a government shutdown to pass this voter suppression bill (because solving the nonexistent problem of undocumented immigrants voting is apparently worth disenfranchising millions of eligible voters).

🗳️ Yesterday’s poll results

Yesterday, we asked Does Trump have any clue what he is doing in Iran?

Over 98% of you said NO:

  • “He needs to be stopped as he has no idea about anything except his narcissistic self”

    - mfgarrett

  • “He ignored the counsel of people far smarter with more expertise and experience than he has and failed to consider what Iran's response might be. He was conned by Israel. And his allegiance to Putin has greatly compromised the US. He is danger to the world who should have been impeached by sycophants in Congress months ago.”

    - refischer1

  • “He has no experience in military matters, neither does his cabinet people. They are all ignorant of how war works. He thinks this is a game and the soldiers and toys on a board. This is shameful. ”

    - twoasps

  • “He shows obvious signs of dementia, but clearly never had any clue. ”

    - kr209

  • “Trump loves to cause chaos, misery and destruction. Beyond that, he neither knows nor cares.”

    - capthonb3

  • “He doesn't "know enough about" if we bombed the girls school? Why doesn't he find out? No ones boss excepts "I don't know" as a final answer. He's still playing reality TV. His mind is not in the real world, unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy.”

    - lamakul

  • badunakin said YES: “I’m sure this is helping all his wealthy friends & family buy or sell oil as his decisions allow. ”

The Coming MAGA Civil War: How Iran Is Fracturing Trump’s Coalition

Remember “no more wars”? That promise Donald Trump and JD Vance repeated like a mantra to young voters in 2024? Yeah, about that.

Trump’s attack on Iran has achieved something genuinely historic: It’s now the most unpopular American war in modern history.

And the coalition that put him back in office is cracking wide open over it.
