TOP STORY

Troops Are Being Told Trump’s War Is ‘GOD’S PLAN’

U.S. military commanders are telling their troops that bombing Iran is “all part of God’s divine plan” and citing the Book of Revelation to explain why they’re at war. This is Christian nationalism operating inside the Pentagon, and it’s exactly as terrifying as it sounds.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation received over 100 complaints from service members since U.S. and Israeli forces began bombing Iran on Saturday, according to HuffPost.

One non-commissioned officer filed on behalf of himself and 15 other troops—all of different religious backgrounds—after a commander told them Trump “has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.”

The commander “had a big grin on his face” while delivering this message. The complaints have come from more than three dozen military units at over 30 different installations.

Trump Abandons Thousands of Americans in War Zone

Thousands of Americans are stranded across the Middle East as Trump’s Iran war enters day four, with U.S. embassies flat-out telling citizens they can’t help them evacuate—even as airlines cancel 18,000 flights and airspace closes. The State Department claims it’s “actively securing military aircraft,” BUT stranded Americans report unanswered hotline calls, zero evacuation procedures, and being told “do not rely on the U.S. government” for help—forcing people to pay $1,000 for private drives through closed borders while dodging Iranian drone strikes.

GOP Senator Calls Noem a ‘DISASTER’ to Her Face

Republican Sen. Thom Tillis absolutely torched Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem during a Senate hearing, calling her leadership a “disaster” and demanding her resignation—after he voted to confirm her. Tillis ripped her for ICE agents killing two Americans (whom Noem smeared as “terrorists” and refuses to apologize for), bottlenecking FEMA disaster aid to North Carolina, and—OF COURSE—shooting her puppy because she couldn’t be bothered to properly train it.

Kash Patel Fired Entire Team of Iran Experts Right Before Trump’s War

Days before Trump launched his illegal Iran war, FBI Director Kash Patel fired a dozen counterintelligence agents from CI-12—the unit that investigated Trump’s hoarding of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, which reportedly included U.S. military plans for Iran. So let’s get this straight: Patel axed the people who investigated Trump for stealing Iran war plans, then Trump started an Iran war. Meanwhile, nearly half of all FBI agents have been reassigned to immigration enforcement, gutting counterterrorism capabilities right when they’re needed most. Trump now admits he has “no plan” for how long this war will last—but hey, at least the people who might’ve held him accountable are gone.

Multiple Polymarket Accounts Made Highly Unusual Bets Ahead of Trump Strikes

More than a dozen brand-new anonymous accounts on crypto betting platform Polymarket placed suspiciously well-timed bets totaling $67,000 that Trump would strike Iran—and walked away with $330,000 in profits. Twelve of the thirteen accounts had been created within the past week, and half the wagers came just six hours before the bombs started falling. This isn’t the first time: similar accounts made $538,000 betting on Maduro’s capture days before it happened, all with perfect timing on classified military operations. Either someone’s got the world’s luckiest guess, or someone with access to national security secrets is getting rich off war.

🗳️ Yesterday’s poll results

Yesterday, we asked: Do you support Trump's war with Iran?

98% said NO:

  • “He's deranged and extremely dangerous!!!!”

    - jmenear11

  • “This attack was not only unlawful, unprecedented, but unconscionable and based on lies. All the deaths from this horrible action is not only weigh heavy on Trumps soul, but on every elected official that did not step up to stop him.” (what soul?)

    - mfgarrett

  • “Distraction for the Epstein files and Trump's guilt.”

    - veronicam

  • “The felon-in-Chief is totally out of control. Just because we have a strong military is no excuse to bomb any country he pleases. He should be impeached and removed before he totally finishes us off. Let Israel fight their own wars.”

    - a.smoot

  • “He is pitching deflection pitches faster than a major league baseball pitcher at the All-Star game. "This oughta keep their minds off the Epstein files for awhile" In the meantime school girls and US service members are dying. But after all it is war and "that's to be expected in war"”

    - spencervilleusa

  • “The republican party, which supports this certifiably mentally impaired incompetent, MUST be declared a subversive and insurrectionist political cabal and either disbanded or decimated of its treasonous elements before it can destroy the electoral process and overthrow our current system of governance (inadequate as it is)! ”

    - toby.d.dog1

  • “It’s all about the oil and the $$ It is not about America first . It’s Trump first! He is a grifter and a narcissist who cares only about creating generational wealth for his family! Not a President for the people!”

    - jomapo51

  • “This reeks of Trump being the Antichrist starting Armageddon.”

    - cecemaso

  • “He will do anything to distract from his corrupt government. I would be willing to bet he will benefit greatly from this war. He will do anything to grow the family business. His cabinet is like a gaggle of worthless sicophants.”

    - mskish4

  • All the people who voted YES declined to leave a comment. Wonder why!

IN DEPTH

The Billionaire Bunker Boom: Why America’s Richest Are Building Fortresses While Working Families Face Economic Collapse

Mark Zuckerberg just dropped $170 million on a house. Not a compound. Not a block. A single house on Indian Creek Island—the ultra-exclusive Miami fortress nicknamed “Billionaire Bunker”—with a gym, hair salon, massage room, 1,500-gallon aquarium, library with secret passageway, and 30,000 square feet of “privacy” from the rest of us.

It’s a new record for Miami-Dade County, according to The Wall Street Journal.

This isn’t a lifestyle story. This is a tell.

When billionaires start building luxury fortresses on private islands while working families are drowning in medical debt and skipped meals, they’re not just spending—they’re preparing.

Zuckerberg just spent $170 million on a billionaire bunker because he knows what’s coming.
