Kristi Noem is OUT

Kristi Noem is out as Homeland Security Secretary after a brutal week of Congressional testimony where even Republicans tore into her leadership—and Donald Trump is replacing her with Markwayne Mullin, the Oklahoma senator best known for challenging a union boss to a fistfight during a Senate hearing.

Trump announced the firing on social media Thursday, praising Noem’s work at the border while simultaneously tossing her overboard.

It was conveniently timed with a particularly damning release of new Epstein Files.

➡️ Question of the Day

Now that she's been fired, should Kristi Noem be arrested for her crimes?

DOJ Finally Releases Buried Epstein Files With Damning Trump Claims

The Justice Department finally released FBI memos in which a woman accuses Trump of sexually assaulting her when she was 13-15 years old—documents the DOJ had conveniently “buried” until media reports exposed their absence. Trump’s team is attacking the victim’s credibility by citing her criminal record—despite the fact that her identity is publicly redacted and unknown.

Trump: ‘I GUESS’ Americans Should Worry About Attack on U.S. Soil

When asked if Americans should worry about Iran attacking them at home, Trump responded “I guess” and casually added, “When you go to war, some people will die.” This comes days after six U.S. service members were killed in a retaliatory drone strike and a potential terror attack in Austin killed three—while over 1,000 people have died in the escalating conflict.

Investigation Points To Likely U.S. Responsibility In Iran School Strike, Sources Say

U.S. military investigators believe what we all already know: American forces likely struck an Iranian girls’ school that killed scores of children—possibly 150—during the first day of Trump’s bombing campaign, according to two U.S. officials who spoke to Reuters. The Pentagon is still “investigating,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says they “never target civilian targets,” and the White House blamed Iran for targeting children (despite, you know, the evidence pointing at us).

If confirmed, this would rank among the worst civilian casualty events in decades of U.S. Middle East conflicts—a war crime under international law.

Jan. 6 Rioter Pardoned by Trump Gets Life Sentence for Molesting Two Children

A Florida handyman got what Trump’s pardon couldn’t protect him from: life in prison for molesting two children. Andrew Paul Johnson, 45, was among the 1,500-plus Jan. 6 defendants Trump pardoned on Day One of his return to office—a sweeping act of clemency that effectively said insurrection is fine, actually. But Turns out Trump’s “get out of jail free” card doesn’t cover child molestation. This is who Trump freed: a man carrying a bullhorn to attack democracy who then went home to abuse children.

🗳️ Yesterday’s poll results

Yesterday, we asked: Is a "feeling" a good enough reason to start a war?

Over 99% said NO:

  • “I never thought I’d think of Nancy Reagan using a psychic to plan dear Ronnie’s travel schedule as the good old days, but here we are.”

    - deforrest

  • “Trump started a war based on a feeling? Not on reliable Intel. NOT on facts. Not on the advice of seasoned advisors on the Middle East, whom, I might add, were reportedly fired by Trump shortly before he started this war. No rhyme or reason - just a feeling the demented president had... now we are facing WWIII.”

    - sreichel

  • “Not at all! even if the person that had that feeling was a Nobel Laureate much less an orange buffoon-!!”

    - a15anaya

  • “I've got a "feeling" this war in not going to end well for anyone”

    - capthonb3

  • “Sometimes I have a feeling based on fact to hit someone, but common sense tells me not to. Apparently he lacks the brain power to make sound decisions.”

    - callajr.jc

  • “Ask the families of the dead soldiers if ‘the feeling’ was good enough!”

    - pattyplease01

  • “Attacking another country on a "feeling" is just another way of admitting that he had no reasons other than to deflect from the Epstein files.”

    - crys62

  • The one person who voted yes said: “He had a feeling with a 13-year-old girl too😡” — so maybe they meant to vote no which would have made this unanimous!

IN DEPTH

The Epstein Cover-Up Continues: Why DOJ Sat on Damning Trump Documents Until Forced to Release Them

The timing of Kristi Noem’s firing is… interesting.

Because while the media is busy covering “ICE Barbie” and her alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s Department of Justice quietly dumped some of the most damning documents yet from the Jeffrey Epstein files—documents they’d been hiding for months.

Documents describing FBI interviews with a woman who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her when she was between 13 and 15 years old.

Documents the DOJ claimed were “duplicates” until Congress started asking questions.

Just another Thursday in fascist America.
