Since he joined the struggling venture capital firm 1789 Capital (the same week his dad won re-election), the firm hasn't lost once. In fact, the firm's assets exploded from $150 million to more than $3 billion in under two years.

Ranking member Jamie Raskin sent a letter highlighting the firm’s “uncanny ability to identify companies that are about to receive massive influxes of cash from the Trump Administration.”

They invested in a rare-earths company. Months later, the Trump administration cut it a $620 million deal. They bought into Juul right as the FDA suddenly reversed years of policy and let Juul's vaping products back on shelves. They grabbed a stake in Polymarket the moment the DOJ and CFTC dropped their federal investigation and lifted the company's ban on operating in the US. That stake alone is now worth 15 times what they paid.

Raskin's letter says it's "impossible to believe" this is anything but insider access.

He’s demanding records on every company 1789 has backed, and every conversation the firm's had with federal officials.

There is NO QUESTION that Donald Trump Jr. is illegally using insider information to pump up his venture capital firm. He must be held accountable for his outrageous violations of the law.

Trump found $5 million for gold horse statues last year. Now, he can’t find more than $500,000 for Nepal.

At least 788 people are dead. Thousands more are missing. Nepal is drowning in catastrophic flash floods, and police officers and soldiers are still searching the wreckage for survivors.

Trump's America sent $500,000 and condolences. That's it. From the richest country on Earth.

The U.K. sent over $6 million. The Asian Development Bank sent $5 million. The UN sent $2.5 million. Even Switzerland sent twice what Trump did.

And where did Trump put his $5 million? Gilding four bronze horse statues in Washington, D.C., in 23.75-karat gold.

This isn't an accident. The Interior Department has already funneled at least $95 million into vanity beautification projects around D.C. — $20 million of it hidden from public disclosure.

America used to lead the world when disaster struck. Now Trump gilds horses while the rest of the world does the job America abandoned.

Yesterday, Trump posted an AI-generated video to Truth Social showing himself strolling up to a "Welcome to Lake Ontario" sign, kicking it over, and replacing it with a "Welcome to Lake America" sign — complete with his signature dance.

Earlier the same day, he posted AI geese in Trump wigs firing rifles, apparently hinting at military conflict with Canada. All of this was happening while a federal judge ruled that his administration illegally cut farmworkers' wages — a decision affecting some of the most economically vulnerable workers in the country.

The president's response to losing in court, apparently, is to post cartoons.

Bernie Sanders is introducing a bill to completely ban Flock's AI surveillance cameras nationwide.

If it passes, the company that's already installed more than 120,000 cameras across 6,000-plus communities, scanning 20 billion vehicles a month, gets shut down for good.

This isn't paranoia. Flock's cameras have been widely misused to track exes and other victims, flagged an innocent Wisconsin driver at gunpoint over an expired registration error, and combined vehicle data with phone numbers and family records to identify who you are and where you're going. One Ohio officer used it more than 40 times to stalk a former partner.

The company's response? Its CEO says Americans should "compromise" on their privacy for safety. Meanwhile it's backed by tech billionaires Marc Andreessen and Peter Thiel, and expanding into deals with police departments nationwide.

It's so unlikeable even Republicans are running from it.

Kentucky's Thomas Massie and Florida's Anna Paulina Luna are pushing their own bans. Los Angeles, Denver, and towns across the country have already canceled their contracts.

Tucker Carlson, the man who did more than almost anyone to put Donald Trump back in the White House, is now asking why nobody has removed him from office yet.

"Why isn't there an attempt to remove him from office, like, immediately?" Carlson said, saying that if Trump is seriously considering the use of nuclear weapons against Iran, that is "the red line."

The fact that Carlson, the MAGA media ecosystem's most influential voice, is now publicly calling for Trump's ouster is not a footnote. When the propagandist starts asking questions the opposition has been asking for months, something has shifted.

Trump plans to snub NYC’s 9/11 ceremony because they refuse to let him give an insane speech full of lies. Trump's team reportedly signaled he planned to attend, even scouting the Ground Zero site for security in recent weeks.

But the National September 11 Memorial and Museum has barred political speeches at the ceremony since 2012 — a rule that's applied to every sitting president, not just him.

When his team pushed for an exception, organizers said no. And just like that, Trump is no longer attending.

The New York Times says the decision not to show up is directly tied to being denied a speaking slot. The White House called the report "fake news." NYT is standing by its reporting.
